In this painting, my intension was to portray those first few warm, beautiful spring days. The sun shining through the windows, casting a golden glow into your home and chasing away the cold days of winter. I show this through the use of the butter yellow on the back walls and the coppery underpainting contrasted with the cool blue counter and white and blue vase.
